Dead by Daylight
Dead by Daylight Review: To Kill Or To Die?
Dead by Daylight is a horror game that will scare you to death. If you are brave enough to play it, try it yourself. But, if you’re not, welcome to this Dead by Daylight review.
Dead By Daylight Gameplay: 5/5
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer for 5 players, where you can play either for a team of survivors consisting of 4 (suddenly) survivors or for a bloodthirsty killer who is trying to catch all the victims and sacrifice them to a certain entity.
The goal of the survivors is to repair 5 generators and supply power to the gate and to escape through this very gate while trying not to die. Their main weapon against the murderer (who, by the way, is immortal) is assembling and solidarity.
The killer has to track out the unwelcome guests and capture them in order to bring the sacrifice for a dark essence. There are three maniacs, and they differ not only by face but also in their skills. One is able to trap, the other goes into stealth, well, and the third rushes at the survivors with a chainsaw.
Dead By Daylight Graphics: 5/5
The graphic design is quite cool. If you focus on it, it seems that the graphics are realistic, but if you only pay attention to the texture of a tree or wall, it seems that the textures in this game are painted with a brush and paints. Since this game is a horror, the atmosphere plays a huge role, and thanks to the well-done visuals the game is scary enough.
Dead by Daylight Sounds: 5/5
The music and sound effects here serve as a way to strengthen the player’s sense of tension as well as gameplay. You can also hear victims heartbeats and special tunes that symbolize different alerts. The killer, for example, can hear how the wounded survivor groans or rustles in the bushes, the sound of the closing door where the survivors hide, etc.
The Dead by Daylight controls is honestly the worst thing about the game. Many users complain about PC controls, and these problems aren’t fixed still. In fact, they actually don’t work properly and there’s nothing you can do.
Replay Value: 4/5
The survivor always gets the generators, and the maniac always hangs the victims on the hooks. That’s how the gameplay works. And always will be.
The game dragged me for several hundred hours. There are several reasons for that. The first is regular updates, the second is the gameplay for both sides is completely different, the third is that it is much more exciting to play with friends.
If you want to go through new experience or like horrors, you should definitely try the Dead by Deadlight. The price of the game gives you a payback with more emotions. It has nice visuals and incredible sound effects that makes the game look like a solid horror movie.
The Dead by Daylight is undoubtedly unique and the best of its kind, and I believe that it is worth to try. Play as a victim or an insidious serial killer, in both ways you’ll get an unforgettable experience..
Pros : Real horror movie atmosphere;
Great playing modes;
Cons : Can’t be recommended for vulnerable people;
Controls doesn’t work at all;
It’s REALLY scary.
Replay Value 4
