Tracks Gameplay 4/5
Generally speaking, we enjoyed the Tracks gameplay, its simplicity, the nostalgia trip and overall relaxing effect. This title is great for both youthful and experienced players just looking for some brain-recharge time. However, there may come a moment when you will want more of everything about Tracks: more trains, more missions, more locations… Luckily, it’s an Early Access game, which means more game content is likely going to be released soon.
Tracks Graphics 5/5
The Tracks graphics are just ambitious enough to perfectly suit the relaxed concept of the game. The art style is just so beautiful. Visually-wise, everything snaps together perfectly within the Tracks gameplay. The friendly user interface is a yummy cherry on this cake of a game.
Tracks Sounds 5/5
The Tracks music is awesome. The audio effects are amazingly skillfully woven into the gameplay. The super calm and almost lullaby-like sounds of a piano accompany you whenever you’re up for building something. You can always turn the music off when you feel like building in silence. And the soundtrack of the game is actually available for sale as DLC on Steam.
When you first play the Tracks game, the controls may seem a bit confusing. Our advice begins in a blank sandbox mode where you will find a step-by-step tutorial guiding you through each and every detail in terms of controls.
Replay Value 5/5
The game provides lots of room for creativity. You’ll be amazed at how much you can do with this seemingly simple wooden train video game. Tracks are definitely replayable. You’ll hardly ever get bored with it. There will even be times when you won’t be able to get enough of it.
